ILOSM family, we have very sad news to report today. Jessie Lawrence Ferguson, the actor who played the ‘shady cop’ in Boyz N’ The Hood, has passed away. He was 76 years young and his son has now given details about his beloved Father’s passing.

According to TMZ, Jessie Ferguson’s son, Jace, sadly found his father’s body after he’d passed away inside of his home:
Jessie’s son, Jace, tells us … he died Friday night at their home in Palmdale, California. Jace says he found his dad next to his bed with the TV on, and it comes as a shock because he was spry and seemed healthy in the days leading up to his death.
‘He was a strong Black man’…
Son remembers Ferguson as the great man that his Pops was:
Jace says, “He was a strong, beautiful intelligent Black man and he wanted the best for his son and all people.”
At this time, Jessie Ferguson’s cause of death is unknown law enforcement stated that it was ‘natural death’ and no foul play is suspected.
