Michael Jackson’s Criminal Attorney Goes Off About Bill Cosby Charges!
Micheal Jackson’s former criminal attorney, Tom Mesereau, went off on during his interview on CNN the other day as he discussed his disbelief and outrage about Bill Cosby’s recent arrest and charge of sexual assault in a case that was brought on by former Temple University employee.
Mesereau said that it will be extremely difficult for the prosecutors to prove “beyond a reasonable doubt” that Cosby sexually violated those women and that he is guilty of the crimes against him. He even hinted at money being the motivation and that he simply does not believe the stories that have been presented.
Here’s what Atty. Mesereau told CNN:
“They’re going to have to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that this woman was drugged against her will — which I just can’t believe happened… that a man his age wanted to have sex with her while she was unconscious and under drugs. It doesn’t make any sense to me.”
“Financial motive can come into the question of bias: what motivates someone to make claims and why were they willing to take money and go away? There’s a lot more to this than what meets the eye at the moment,” Mesereau said.
He also said there are many similarities between what’s happening with Cosby’s case and what happened with MJ’s case, where MJ was ultimately proven innocent, with one of his accusers allegedly even admitting he had lied after MJ passed away.
Mesereau also went on to say that “The media’s just swarming the prosecutor’s press conference.” He stated that the defendant will be “subjected to withering attacks on the witness stand” and that the other women who have claimed sexual assault by Cosby have, “jumped on a bandwagon… you may see them devastated in the courtroom.”
Mesereau then compared the Cosby accusers to MJ’s accusers and what happened in his trial: “One witness was destroyed after another.”
